The brief

The recruitment team wanted a website they could post job adverts on and inform recruiters and candidates about current affairs and to offer advice during the recruitment process.

The website wish list included:

Updatable website pages
Facility to post job adverts and to have a featured job on the homepage
Searchable jobs section
New design to match corporate branding

The solution

We built a full content management system website with an integrated job listings module to enable in-house updates to every page in the website. The job listings section was set up to be fully searchable.

Inspiration for the new website design came from a printed brochure and the strong colours used in the logo.

We worked with the team to write short paragraphs of text for the new website. We created a one page downloadable brochure using the majority of the text from the website.

We also added a link to a downloadable staff timesheet to save the team emailing the PDF to employees on a regular basis.

The outcome

Pre-launch the website was receiving an average of 17 visits per day. Since launch, the traffic numbers have been consistently over 50 average visits per day.

The job search section is updated daily by the recruitment team, hence the job search section of the website is well used by job seekers.

We indexed the website in many directories both in the Waikato and nationwide to increase the awareness of the website.

The website received an average 75% of visits from New Zealand, with the remaining traffic generally coming from USA, Australia and UK.
